The Guadalajara International Film Festival and the Universidad de Guadalajara Foundation, A.C. invite all nonprofit civil associations in the state of Jalisco whose primary mission is social benefit or improvement to apply for the selection process to participate in the “Galas a Beneficio” film series, as part of the 41st edition of the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG), which will take place from April 17 to 25, 2026, under the following terms and conditions:
Organizations wishing to apply must submit the following documentation:
- Articles of Incorporation of the association (most recent)
- Recognition as an Authorized Donor with the SAT
- Updated Certificate of Tax Status
- Updated Positive Opinion on Compliance with Tax Obligations
- Proof of address (issued within the last three months)
- Front page of a bank statement (no more than three months old) clearly showing the company name, address, CLABE, and bank account number
This documentation will be submitted only if you are selected; therefore, during the selection process, you need only indicate that you meet the requirements.
Applications will be accepted from January 26 to February 15, 2026
Please send an email to galas@ficg.mx, attaching a letter describing the association’s work and objectives, as well as a brief explanation of how the funds raised during the benefit galas would be used, along with your contact information (email and phone numbers).
In addition, informational materials such as brochures and audiovisual content, links to their official social media profiles, and other resources that help provide a better understanding of their work may be included.
Applications will be evaluated from February 19 to 26, 2026
The committee will be composed of the Guadalajara International Film Festival and the Universidad de Guadalajara Foundation, A.C., which will evaluate and make a final decision regarding the selected associations. Their decision will be final.
The results will be published on February 27, 2026
The results will be posted on the official social media accounts of the FICG and the Fundación Universidad de Guadalajara, A.C.
The selected organizations will also be notified via the contact information provided in their application and must designate a representative to handle the follow-up.
If, after the decision is made, it turns out that any of the associations fails to submit the required documentation or declines to participate, the committee may select another of the associations that applied.
Any matter not covered in this call for applications will be resolved by the organizing bodies.
