The Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara has built a series of partnerships with prestigious academies, festivals and international institutions in order to accompany and promote the projects that are part of our Official Selection.
The Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara is a qualifier to consideration for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) awards in the categories of Ibero-American Documentary Feature Film, Ibero-American Short Film, and Rigo Mora Award.
In agreement with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), the winner film for Best Ibero-American Feature Film and for the Mezcal Award is considered for the Golden Globe® Awards. The screening for HFPA members takes place within the framework of the GuadaLAjara Film Festival.

Fantastic 7 consists of the presentation of a pitch at the Cannes Film Market, the most prestigious film market in the world, in which projects selected by seven of the most relevant festivals in the world participate in the dissemination of the Fantasy genre.
