Synopsis
José Ramón Capdevila, the last of three generations of farmers and stockbreeders, receives the news that his son, Raúl, is coming back home after failing to find work in the city. At the same time, the construction of a huge macro-slaughterhouse of the Pini Group is announced in the village. After several months of work, the loading time comes, when the pigs are loaded onto trucks and transported to the slaughterhouse. The last to be sorted out are the "remainders", those pigs that are not fit for human consumption, some of which will not even make it to their destination. One more breeding is over, another one will soon begin.
