Sinopsis

There is a myth that Costa Rica has a predominantly white population. Milagros, a Nicaraguan single mother lives in La Carpio, a marginalized community on the outskirts of the capital, she went into exile in Costa Rica due to the recent socio-political conflicts in her country. Emerita Bejarano left her native Ngäbe community in Panama to work on the coffee plantations of the community of Sabalito, a territory divided by two countries. Janis Howlet of Afro-Caribbean origin, lives in an abandoned but nature-filled town on the banks of the train in the Costa Rican Caribbean where there are not many opportunities.

Director

Gabriel Serra
Born in Managua, Nicaragua. He studied Social Communication finishing as a Bachelor with a specialty in radio and television production. In 2004 he created exhibitions of video art and photography. He is also a photographer and editor for commercials and documentaries. And in 2008 he began his Degree in Cinematography graduating with honors from the CCC, Mexico.
