It’s been six years since Mariano graduated from film school. He’s about to turn 30 and he still lives with his mom, spends most of his time watching movies and has never written a screenplay. His comfortable routine changes when his 15-year-old cousin, Ramiro, moves in with them. At first, Mariano tries to mold the kid in order to strengthen his own ego, but as Ramiro rejects his cousin’s impositions, their absurd quarrel intensifies until it gets out of hand by the arrival of Mariali, a 14-year-old cinephile.

She was born on January 3, 1989, in Mexico City. She’s a graduate of the Film Program at the University Center for Film Studies (CUEC-UNAM). She has written and directed several awarded short films. She has also been a two-time beneficiary of the annual grant "Young creators" of FONCA (National Fund for Culture and Arts) and was a winner of the Incentive Program for Filmmaker awarded by IMCINE (Mexican Institute of Cinematography). She has also been the runner-up of the screenwriting competition Matilde Landeta.
