The Guadalajara Film Festival will be present at the Cannes Film Festival
A delegation from FICG will meet with industry agents from July 6 to 17 at the Marché du Film, one of the most important film markets in the world
The Guadalajara Film Festival (FICG 36) will be present within the 74th edition of the Cannes Film Festival (July 6-17), with the purpose of generating ties and strengthening relationships with interested members of the film industry in promoting Mexican and Ibero-American cinema; Similarly, In the same way, an approach will be made for the distribution and exhibition of feature films that can be exhibited in the Cineteca FICG of the University of Guadalajara and in the 36th edition of the FICG, to be held from October 1 to 9 of this year.
From July 1 to 17, a delegation of the FICG will be present in the activities of the Marché du Film to promote and generate business meetings for the Guadalajara Film Festival.
Estrella Araiza, General Director of the Guadalajara Film Festival; Bibiana Tenorio, Director of Public Relations and Joel Torres, Director of Production and Administration will be in charge of meeting with distributors, producers and filmmakers for eleven days in order to promote Mexican cinema and begin efforts to bring the best of cinema to our city National and international.
