WINNERS OF THE INDUSTRY PROGRAM COPRODUCTION MEETING ANNOUNCED

The Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG), through its Industry programs, presented the winners of the twenty-first Co-Production Meeting in Hall 2 of the Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas.

As part of FICG's 40th anniversary, the Co-Production Meeting is a platform that opens doors for Ibero-American film professionals to promote the development of productions, foster co-production and strengthen the audiovisual sector. 

This meeting is aimed exclusively at Ibero-American directors and producers with feature film projects in development that have a finished script and at least 20% financing secured. During three intensive days, those selected have the opportunity to participate in one-on-one meetings with leading international film professionals specialized in Ibero-American co-productions, generating valuable connections.

Faithful to its objective of being a platform for new talents, the Co-Production Encounter chose a total of 17 projects to catapult towards their realization and subsequent distribution, among which are: 

  1. BDC Productions: awards in pre-production, production and post-production for God's favorite
    1. Mention to Island witches.
  2. Diablo Panzón: 24 days catering for 40 people for the filming of The Beast
    1. Mention to First we took Anillaco.
  3. Equipment Film Designs (EFD): four-week film equipment rental including RED Hellium 8K Optimal Zoom 16-42, Optimal Zoom 30-80 camera package for The Sparkle.
  1. Equipment Film Designs (EFD): two-week film equipment rental; includes RED Hellium 8K camera package Ultra Prime 20, 24, 32, 50, 85mm lenses. Mini mobile lighting Head o'connor 2575 for A bolero for Ita.
  2. Estudios Churubusco: post-production and mixing services in a THX room, with a two-year term: First we took Anillaco.
  3. The Workshop: image post-production services and post production supervision for The Beast.
    1. Mention to Juliette & Camille.
  4. Pablo Mondragón SCRIPTsounding: film score for First we took Anillaco.
    1. Mention to A bolero for Ita.
  5. LCI Insurance: 60% discount on the acquisition cost of filming insurance for The Beast.

  6. CTT EXP & Rentals: rental of cinematographic equipment for The Beast.
    1. Mention to Invicta.
  7. Sonata Films: foley or sound postproduction service for A bolero for Ita.
  8. Marketing Movie Runner: script clinic for Diamond, or Dancer.
  9. The Maestros: option contract plus integral accompaniment in the development of the pilot for The Centella.
  10. LHCoach: Character building coaching for Diamond, or Dancer.
  11. Lemon studio: project development workshop for A bolero for Ita.
    1. Mention to Casilda.
  12. Yagan Films + Válvula Films: complete postproduction of image and sound for the trailer and teaser for First We Took Anillaco.
  13. SANFIC: fiction for The foreigner.
  14. SANFIC: documentary for Witches of the island.
