Faith and Branko

Documentary | Serbia, United Kingdom | 2020 | 82 min | English, Romanian, Serbian

Synopsis

While learning to play Roma music in Serbia, Faith, a free-spirited British artist, falls hard for Branko, a young Roma violinist. Passionate and collaborative, their onstage chemistry fuels explosive performances and a star-crossed love affair. The pair overlook language and geographic barriers and marry. But after living with her husband's family and traditions, Faith misses the road. Despite his misgivings about leaving home, Branko borrows his wife's confidence and they go on tour. Are the crowds, performances and passion enough to keep music playing? Open hearts and a pumping soundtrack fuel this tender look at two artists in love.
