Synopsis

In a Roma people camp in Belo Horizonte’s metropolitan region, Mrs. Morena reads passers-by’s hands to earn a living, and Mr. Nonô sings to spend time. Among the daily chores, it comes to the day when Morena needs to face the saddest Roma ritual.

Director

João Borges was born in Belo Horizonte, where he lives and works. His films have been screened at important festivals, such as Visions du Réel – Switzerland; Dok Leipzig – Germany; Bogoshort – Colombia; Tiradentes Filme Festival – Brazil , among others.
