Synopsis
The Wind That Moves Us penetrates deep in Empordà, an area in the northeastern tip of Catalonia in Spain. It allows us to take a poetic look at the daily life of some people who inhabit this windy land: an old woman and her great-grandson, a shepherd who spends most of his time tending his flock of sheep and a girl who cultivates apples. These main characters, each one living a different moment in life, share a daily reality which highlights a lively cultural heritage preserved through the legacy between family generations.
Director
Born in a natural region in northeastern Spain, where he currently lives, he has always felt closely linked to this land, and a good part of his works approach poetically to this territory and the people who inhabit it. Today he combines his work as a documentary filmmaker, and teaches film production at ERAM College. The Wind That Moves Us is his first feature film as a director.
