Synopsis
While a mother is in intensive care with little hope of survival, her son is on another continent with no chance of seeing her. With the subconscious memories of his mother during an induced coma and with images of her constant moves, the director composes a letter-essay about death, family and distance.
Director
Audiovisual Artist from the University of Guadalajara and a master's degree in documentary from the Lusófona University in Portugal, the National University of Theater and Cinema in Budapest, and the LUCA School of Arts in Belgium. Winner of the Ariel 2017 for the documentary short film Aurelia y Pedro (2016, Berlinale). His documentary debut is Off The Road (2020, Visions du Réel, DOCNYC, Los Cabos).
