Synopsis
In a country that criminalizes abortion, three women determined to interrupt their pregnancy, challenge a conservative society and their own family. At a crossroad of life marked by loneliness, fear, lack of love and social pressure, we uncover Carmen, Melina and Fanny, who reveal from their most intimate selves the way in which they face an unwanted pregnancy and despite everything, they decide not to become mothers.
There´s Something I Haven´t Said, is a documentary film that shapes into an intimate conversation, held from everyday spaces, through which these three women reveal how they faced the decision not to become mothers.
Director
Graduated of the Hispanic American Literature B.A degree at the Faculty of Literature and Communication of the University of Colima. She is a photographer, audiovisual producer and cultural manager. Her photographic and audiovisual work is inspired by the search of new narratives that address the daily lives, struggles and realities of women.
