Synopsis

It is not fear of water, nor of the disturbing noises of an old creaking house. Nor is it the fear of wild hailstorms. There is something that has tormented Cristina since she was the age of her little daughter, Regina, and that could endanger the happiness of both of them. Because the scars of a traumatic past can be passed on to children and that is what Cristina wants to avoid at all costs. But she doesn't know how. The wound is so deep and so painful that the only liberating option seems to be death.
