Synopsis
Letters from a distance documents a communication exercise devised by health staff in a public hospital in Mexico City to ease the distance between patients with COVID 19 and their relatives through letters, which eventually became video messages or photographs and that at the peak of the pandemic they gave certainties and reduced misinformation. Letters From a Distance is also a journey through the lives of Mexican families who faced the most painful pandemic to date, in adverse social, economic, and political contexts, moved by hope and love.
