Synopsis
Summer vacation. Two sisters, Marina (17) and Luna (13), travel from Costa Rica to Panama to look for their absent father. As they deal with friction that arises between them, they find the space to explore their desires, new friends, lovers and skateboarding, in a journey towards emancipation in which they will learn the virtue of simply hanging out. An intimate and tender story of brotherhood in the urban tropics, an insightful portrait of colorful teenage life.
Director
Degree in physical therapy and dancer graduated from the Open Dance program of the University of Costa Rica. As an actress, she starred in the fiction feature films Nina y Laura by Alejo Crisóstomo and Viaje by Paz Fábrega. She directed and wrote the short films Es Cecilia (2012) and Cosas que no se rope (2017) and the feature film Sister & Sister (2023).
