Synopsis

When a young opera singer takes over the leading role in an avant-garde presentation of Macbeth, she triggers the madness of a crazed fan who repeatedly forces the diva to watch the brutal murders of her friends.

He is one of the best-known film directors of the Italian giallo cinema, a genre that combines the suspenseful elements of the detective story with scenes of shocking horror. He is also considered one of the fathers of modern horror cinema and a notable influence on American Slasher cinema. Among his more than 20 films, he is known for Suspiria, Phenomena and Deep Red.
