How is the selection carried out?

The selection of participants will be decided by the selection committee, whose members will be announced once the results are published.

The committee will evaluate the proposal and the audiovisual production experience of the applicants. In addition, it will seek to select, to the extent possible, a heterogeneous group of sectors and nationalities.

Talents Guadalajara has limited space, so refusal to participate does not determine the quality of the application submitted.

Where to check the results?

Once the call is closed, the results will be announced via email to those interested and through the publication of the list on the FICG website.

What can you participate in?

Activities

From June 8 to 12, 2024, Talents Guadalajara presents an intensive program of activities with master classes, dialogue tables, workshops, special screenings, Talent Project Market and Talent Press Guadalajara.

The detailed program of activities, as well as the publication of the participating experts, will be disseminated two weeks before the start of Talents Guadalajara activities.

The description of the mechanics to be developed in each activity is as follows:

Master classes: Interviewed by a specialist in the field, renowned filmmakers from around the world share their knowledge acquired in their journey of exploration and personal learning in cinematography, while explaining the different methodologies and techniques used in their work.

Dialogue tables: Experts from the international film industry, from different backgrounds, cultures and creative tendencies, discuss the various techniques, concepts and practices on a specific topic.

Workshops: Experts from the global film industry articulate their knowledge and experience in an analysis and practice laboratory, where the skills of the participants are confronted with a series of creative and technical challenges designed by the mentors.
