Which countries are invited to participate in Talents Guadalajara?
Filmmakers from Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, as well as Latin American filmmakers residing in the United States and Canada, are invited to apply.
Can I reapply if I have already been selected once in Talents Guadalajara?
You cannot reapply to the Studios. However, if you are a director or producer with a feature film project in development, you can participate in the Talent Project Market.
Does Talents Guadalajara offer transportation assistance?
No, we do not have the budget to cover transportation costs for those selected. However, the Festival will provide transportation from the airport to the hotel where you will be staying.
Does Talents Guadalajara provide accommodations during the event?
Every year, the FICG makes an effort to provide shared accommodations for those selected for Talents GDL. However, due to external circumstances, this may not always be possible. If this is the case, those selected will be notified in a timely manner.
Does Talents Guadalajara assist with visa applications for those selected?
Talents Guadalajara cannot process visas or immigration permits. However, we assist selected candidates by providing official letters of invitation and information to facilitate the visa application process.
