It all began on the screen of a university hall and, since then, the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG) continues to project dreams that come true in national and international cinema. Today, four decades after that moment, the Festival is proud to reach its 40th edition, which will be held from March 6 to 14, 2010.

The 40th edition of the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG) announces the official selection of animated short films in competition for the Rigo Mora Award, a section in which international animated short films in any technique participate. The award consists of a Chucho statuette and $200,000 Mexican pesos given to the director of the short film.
