FAQ Episode 0: Series in Development

Producers with Ibero-American series projects that are at least fifty percent complete in development.Participation is free of charge.

 

The Festival hosts two representatives from each selected project. Travel and meal expenses are the responsibility of the participants.

We accept proposals for fiction, animated, and documentary series that have not yet been filmed, provided they include a teaser for the series, at least 10 percent of the funding secured, and a project proposal.

The teaser is required, and it must be a brief audiovisual preview that conveys the series' narrative, visual, quality, and/or dramatic intentions.

The entire registration process is conducted online, and applicants are required to provide personal and professional information about the project representatives, as well as a dossier containing specific details about the series, as outlined in the call for submissions.

 

The requested information must be provided in Spanish and English. To participate, it is essential to speak Spanish, and it is recommended that you understand and speak English.

Episode 0: Series in Development is a program of the Guadalajara International Film Festival’s Industry section, which is held annually in June in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
