The industry programs are projects of the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG) that have the objective of serving different sectors of the Ibero-American film industry. They are platforms for niches that are differentiated by their level of development or their thematic specialization.

Our objective has always been to function as a platform that catapults the development, production and distribution of new cinema in Latin America.
The Coproduction Meeting takes place over three days of intensive meetings between representatives of our selection of feature films in development and international film professionals working with Ibero-American projects.
In collaboration with the Berlinale Talents of the Berlin International Film Festival, Talents Guadalajara has been part of the activities of the International Film Festival in Guadalajara since March 2009.
This is an intensive meeting between actors, film critics, directors, cinematographers, sound designers, editors, scriptwriters and producers from Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. It is also a space for interaction that generates creative exchanges and establishes networks between promising filmmakers in the region with experts from the global film industry. Beyond being just a cinematographic event, Talents Guadalajara has established itself as a point of creative convergence where the next generation of actors, filmmakers and film critics meet, generate connections, obtain inspiration and work on their own projects.

In this edition, the Acting and the Directing Studio merge to create a joint space in which actors and directors will attend talks, workshops and practical exercises so that they interact and reflect on the arduous task of creating characters and telling stories.
It is the meeting point for lovers of light, a workshop that fuses theoretical and practical sessions in which participants will share their experiences, plan and carry out practical exercises guided by a renowned director of photography in specialized mentoring.
Talent Press Guadalajara is an intensive training in film criticism. Those selected will have as their daily task the making of a review of a feature film screened at the International Film Festival, which will be presented and discussed in front of their classmates and mentors.
Talents Guadalajara, is a professional pitching experience for feature film projects (documentary or fiction) in development. Participants will receive an intensive workshop, specialized advice and meetings with representatives of the international film industry. This hands-on pitching experience offers participants the chance to obtain producers and co-producers for their films.
Talents Guadalajara presents a special section in its program dedicated to animation and its creators: Talent Motion Studio, in which talks, workshops and practices are held so that animators can enrich their projects in development and perfect their skills in the arduous task of telling. stories with animation.
If you work in creating a sound concept for a film or short film, this is the place for you. The selected sound engineers will be able to participate in a personalized consulting program for their projects in development, they will also be able to share experiences with other sound engineers and carry out practical exercises guided by a guest mentor.
In this edition, producers and distributors are invited to Talents Guadalajara to advise on the projects you are promoting, participate in workshops and talks that reflect on the challenges of our industry and the new paradigms of distribution and exhibition, with the aim of strengthening and make our cinema visible.
DocuLab: Documentary Laboratory is an Industry program of the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG), whose objective is to promote the development of Ibero-American filmmakers and their documentary films in the editing stage, from in-depth analysis and discussion with experts in the gender.
Episode 0: Series in Development is a program that consists of intensive meetings between a selection of series in development; and the film and television professionals who are in the position to consolidate these projects towards their realization stage.
We offer a range of opportunities and collaborations based on the fact that we sit those selected face to face with professionals from the audiovisual industry, producers, television stations, OTT platforms, sales agents and international distributors.
The first pitch open at the Guadalajara Film Market contributes to the development of projects for production, whether films or series. The pitch takes place over three days in which one particular topic is addressed per session.
On the first day, five projects selected by the participating film schools will be discussed. During the second day, horror, science fiction and fantasy are the protagonists in the genre film pitch that is held in alliance with Feratum, one of the most important genre film festivals in Latin America.
On the third day, publishers bring their best stories to negotiate their adaptation rights and turn them into major productions.
We work so that Ibero-American films that are about to be completed find their forms of circulation and their audiences.
Guadalajara Construye is an initiative that since 2008 has seen countless films grow and tour various parts of the world. During three days of screenings, you will be able to see fiction feature films with a provisional cut, in search of financing for their completion and subsequent distribution. These screenings are made before a closed audience of international post-production professionals, including: producers, distributors, sales agents, service companies, aid funds and festival representatives, among others.
Additionally, from the Industry and Market area we manage important support for the post-production and distribution of our selection announced and updated in each edition. These supports are granted to the films that our collaborators consider worthy according to the profile of the ally and the film.
