POLICIES FOR THE USE OF THE FICG FILM LIBRARY

The policies for the use of the cinemas and lobbies of the CINETECA FICG are aimed at taking care of the spaces and all members of the CintecaLover community, Cineteca staff and the general public.

 

The FICG CINETECA's Terms of Use are announced below.

 

1. The user must follow the instructions of the box office and room access staff for the correct use of the facilities.

 

2. Only common transit areas (upstairs lobby, downstairs lobby, restrooms, offices, corridors) and outdoor areas are considered "Pet friendly" areas. Pets are not allowed inside the movie theaters, adjustment room, video library, projection booths and audiovisual room.

 

3. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited in all areas of the FICG CINETECA and Promenade gardens.

 

4. When purchasing a ticket, the user must choose the movie, show, time, seat, type of ticket and number of tickets to be purchased. Payment for tickets may be made in cash or by credit/debit card.

 

When purchasing tickets online, you will receive in response an email with a PDF with a QR code that will confirm your purchase, once scanned the QR code will be released, so it can no longer be scanned again.

 

Ticket discounts can only be made at the CINETECA FICG box office by showing a valid ID that accredits the user as a beneficiary of the benefit.

 

Once the ticket purchase is completed, there will be no changes, cancellations or refunds of any kind. In case of loss or misplacement of the ticket, it can be replaced only if the purchase of the ticket can be proved.

 

Tickets will only be valid for the function, date and time indicated on the ticket. The resale of tickets is prohibited. Without a ticket you will not be able to enter the theaters.

 

5. It will be the responsibility of the users to verify that they comply with the age classification of the movie for which they purchased a ticket, which are:

 

AA.- "Understandable for children under 7 years old".

A.- Film suitable for all audiences.

B.- Films for adolescents twelve years of age and older.

B15.- Films not recommended for children under fifteen years of age.
C.- Films for adults eighteen years of age and older.

D.- Adult films, with explicit sex, profane language, or a high degree of violence.

A.- Adult films, with adult activity, aggressive language, intense or persistent violence, sexually oriented nudity, drug abuse or other elements.

The classification of the films is supervised and granted by the Dirección General de Radio, Televisión Y Cinematografía. The CINETECA FICG reserves the right of admission in case the user does not meet the age requirements to view the content of the film.

 

6. In accordance with the regulation for shows of the Municipality of Zapopan, chapter I, article 19 section I, children under 3 years of age will not be allowed access to movie theaters, therefore no refund, reimbursement, indemnification or compensation may be made.

 

7. Under no circumstances and for no reason whatsoever will persons who are armed, intoxicated, visibly intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or narcotics be allowed to enter CINETECA FICG. Persons who have been suspended from CINETECA FICG and persons who have been prohibited from entering film venues by order, sentence, decree or resolution from any Federal, State or Municipal public institution.

In any case, CINETECA FICG will not be able to refund, reimburse, indemnify or compensate any type of ticket purchased.

 

8. It is essential that those attending the Cineteca comply with the assigned and previously established schedules for the beginning and end of each activity and/or function, so as not to affect subsequent events.

 

9. The suspension of a screening due to force majeure, acts of God, weather or nature that are not the responsibility of or are directly attributed to the administration of CINETECA FICG, will not entitle the holder to any type of refund, reimbursement or compensation.

 

The administration of CINETECA FICG will evaluate in which cases compensation may be considered and will notify the users as soon as possible.

 

10. Access to the rooms will not be allowed with:

 

  • Weapons include, but are not limited to: guns, knives, razors, knuckle dusters, chains, stones, sticks, or any other explosive.
  • Illegal drugs and narcotics.
  • Sharps (including cutlery).
  • Pets or any kind of animals.
  • Professional photo or video cameras.
  • Umbrellas, parasols and sunshades.
  • Handbags longer than 30 cm and/or any type of backpack.
  • Electronic devices, including but not limited to stereos, radios, loudspeakers or portable televisions, are prohibited.
  • Drones and flying objects.
  • Laser pointers.
  • Food and beverages not purchased on the premises.
  • Coolers, bottles and cans, of any type of material...
  • Aerosols, corrosive or highly flammable substances.
  • High alcoholic beverages.

 

In the event that any user insists on entering the room in a scandalous manner with any of the aforementioned items, the assistance of security personnel will be requested to remove him/her from the premises.

 

The entrance of canes, walkers, crutches, wheelchairs and those devices required by the users for their mobility and/or physical condition will be allowed.

 

11. The CINETECA FICG has a free parcel service for the safekeeping of the objects.

 

12. The CINETECA FICG is not responsible for damage, loss or theft of objects, equipment and furniture not belonging to it, such as laptops, cell phones, tablets, cameras, video cameras, suitcases, handbags, or easily movable items.

 

13. During functions, avoid talking. Turn off your cell phone or put it on silent.

 

14. We remind you that taking photographs or recording part of the film constitutes a violation of intellectual property rights, in case the user is detected doing this activity, they will be asked to leave the theater and there will be no right to any refund, reimbursement, indemnification or compensation.

 

15. Inside and outside the rooms it is important to take care of the furniture, avoid putting your feet on the back of the seats in the rooms or on the couches and chairs in the common areas.

 

16. It is prohibited to hammer, glue or hang any type of decoration or objects on the walls, furniture, screens, windows, elevators, escalators, and any part of the infrastructure of the rooms and spaces of the CINETECA FICG.

 

In case of damage, loss or theft to the furniture, equipment and infrastructure of the cinemas or spaces of the CINETECA FICG, caused by the user or audience, the user or audience must pay the total amount of the damaged, lost or stolen movable or immovable property.

 

For the safety and well-being of users, the following actions are strictly prohibited:

 

  • Inciting the commission of any type of crime and/or the commission of any type of crime.
  • Initiating or participating in altercations, fights, brawls, fights, violent acts and/or public disorder.
  • Physically, verbally or psychologically assaulting any person.
  • Attempting to damage the CINETECA FICG in any way.
  • Activate or give false alarms of disasters, or events that could produce or produce collective fear or panic.
  • Transit or otherwise move through areas of the premises that are not intended for human passage or are marked as restricted areas.
  • Consume any type of narcotic drugs, psychotropic drugs, stimulants or analogous substances.
  • Moral and moral offenses.

 

The alleged offender will be immediately consigned to the corresponding authorities.

 

17. In case of earthquake, fire or emergency, users must promptly and immediately follow the instructions of CINETECA FICG security personnel to evacuate the premises.

 

The evacuation of the rooms must be done through the emergency exits indicated therein in case of emergency or drill and when requested by the personnel or any competent authority, without any objection, going to any of the places indicated by the personnel or the authorities.

 

All, without exception, must adhere to the orders and/or provisions of the Civil Protection and Firefighters Regulation of the Municipality of Zapopan, Jalisco and other correlatives, in force and applicable.

 

18. The administration of the parking lots of the Centro Cultural Universitario (CCU) is not the responsibility of the CINETECA FICG, therefore we are not responsible for the limitations and restrictions dictated by the CCU.

 

19. Any situation not foreseen herein shall be resolved in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.

 

20. Failure to comply with the obligations, norms and/or rules established, as well as the carrying out of any of the prohibited actions indicated implies, in addition to the consequences that may arise when the aforementioned non-compliances may constitute crimes or misdemeanors typified in criminal or administrative laws, the immediate expulsion of the offender from the CINETECA FICG. CINETECA FICG reserves the right to refuse admission in case the user fails to comply with the provisions herein.

 

21. Any user, by the mere fact of entering the CINETECA FICG, is obliged to comply fully with the policies of use, the applicable legal provisions in force or future.

 

22. You are being videotaped by security cameras. The images captured by the video surveillance cameras will be processed to ensure your safety and that of visitors and collaborators, as well as to control access to our facilities. 23. The present may be modified at any time, and such modifications shall become effective immediately upon publication on the official website, social networks or display of the present in the public areas of the RECINTO.
