The purpose of this site is to inform you in a timely manner about the events related to the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG), before, during and after the celebration of each edition of this cinematographic meeting.
The dissemination of the Festival through the media is a fundamental part of this film festival. If you wish to receive relevant information and notices throughout the year, we ask you to register as a Press user.
Who can request press accreditation?
Press accreditation is available to journalists, photographers, cameramen and other media professionals who demonstrate that they belong to a formal media outlet or carry out professional work independently.
How can I accredit myself as press?
To be accredited as a press, you must complete the accreditation request form on the website https://vp.eventival.com/ficg/2024. Once completed, our team will review the requests and provide a response within a given time frame.
Does the application for accreditation guarantee its approval?
No. The Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG) reserves the right to approve the application and the decision is irrevocable.
What does press accreditation cost?
Press accreditation has no cost.
What is the opening date for press accreditation applications?
The opening date for the press accreditation application will be announced in advance on the FICG website and official social networks. Late applications are not accepted.
Where and how do I collect my accreditation?
Once the press accreditation request has been approved, confirmation and instructions will be sent via email, with the requirements, dates and times designated for the delivery of the accreditations.
What does press accreditation entitle me to?
Access to activities intended for the press—performances, master classes and panels—and to general coverage of the Festival, which in its 39th edition will take place from June 7 to 15, 2024. Accreditation is personal and non-transferable.
What is the accreditation process for a journalist applying for the first time?
Those who register for the first time must create an Eventival user and then complete the press form.
