Starring Luisa Huertas, this film won the Mezcal Award for Best Mexican Film at the 39th edition of the FICG
The journey that began with a triumph at the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG) is now making headlines around the world: Pierre’s *No Nos Moverán* Saint-Martin will represent Mexico at the 2026 Oscars and Goya Awards.
The Mexican Academy of Film Arts and Sciences (AMACC) announced that the winner of the Mezcal Award, which won over the Guadalajara audience No nos moverán would be responsible for representing represent Mexico in the Best International Feature Film category at the Oscars, and Best Ibero-American Film at the Goya. The film follows Socorro, a woman who will do whatever it takes to uncover the person responsible for her brother’s murder during the 1968 Tlatelolco massacre.
